XOXO Quilt #Moda #Aurifil @abihallcreate

Well I could scarcely help myself the other day, after measuring out some Kiss Kiss fabric for a customer...in a weak moment I busted open a Kiss Kiss  layer cake and got busy stitching up this XOXO quilt.  The pattern from Me and My Sister  is a free download from the designer's website.  You can download yours  HERE.  Please adhere to their allowable uses for the pattern.  This is so quick to put together  when you start with a Layer Cake

This sweet quilt only took a few hours to put together, a  Kiss Kiss layer cake and one yard of fabric ( I used Dots Cloud 35255-11)  are all you need to make the quilt top. Kits Available

BONUS FUN TIME!  Before you cut away the corner of the square run a second row of stitches 1/4" away from the first diagonal.

 This will create a Half Square Triangle (HST) that you can use in another project.  I confess that I am often too lazy to do this extra stitching, but this fabric is SO cute I didn't want to throw away those corners
